This makes.....

a. Me sad
b. My blood pressure rise
c. Want to pray for the soul of Joan Chittister

Look at this horrendous article

If you haven't been caught up on the news here it is. You have to read the entire thing before you can comment intelligently.

From the US Bishops on Benedict's Motu Proprio

From EWTN on the statement from the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith

The Actual Document recently released from the CDF from the Vatican

NCR needs to remove "Catholic" from their name!

"The Vatican II liturgy carries within it a theology of transformation. It does not seek to create on earth a bit of heaven; it does set out to remind us all of the heaven we seek. It does not attempt to transcend the present. It does seek to transform it. It creates community out of isolates in an isolating society." said Joan.

HELLO!!! Mass IS Heaven on Earth. Someone needs to get their theology straight and experience what GOOD liturgy actually is!

I know..This is absolutely ridiculous. So misinformed. If people only understood Church teaching and what a beautiful liturgy really looks like.....gah!
The thing that really bites is that there's an O.S.B. right after her name. St. Benedict and St. Scholastica must be crying right now. Dear Lord please reform those lost religious.

It's a'ight.

Sister Joan is 71 years old. Her "ministry" is nearing the very end. And look around -- there are none to fill her rank once shes gone.

What remains in her wake are Catholics (lay and religious) like you and me. Catholics fed up with the heresy of NCR, Sister Joan, Francis Kissling, McBrien, Greeley and the rest.

They are done.

They are forced to pass on the reigns whether they like it or not. Judging from the tone of the article...they do not like it one bit.

As always, Satan loses.

As always, Christ and his Church emerge triumphant.
